Shanna Flowers is a former newspaper reporter, editor, Editorial writer and columnist. She was the copy editor on an investigative series that won the Pulitzer Prize, journalism's highest award.


Shanna has facilitated and made presentations to local and international audiences, including as keynote speaker at the American Cancer Society’s “Sisters Night Out” awareness program, and as a workshop presenter at the Eastern Communication Association's 2014 national conference. Under the auspices of the U.S. State Department, she traveled with a delegation to the Central Asian country of Kyrgyzstan where she led workshops on volunteerism for women entrepreneurs.

Shanna uses her love of storytelling to engage her audiences with levity and always a hint—or dollop—of the faith that guides her life. Her passion is to inspire and motivate women in their endeavors.
